Where is the Seed is an artistic activation by the Landra collective, which appropriates the architectural installation Travelling Seedbed, conceived by LIMIT Architecture Studio, located in the urban garden of Quinta da Armada, in Braga.

Starting from the allotments of Quinta da Armada, Landra propos a critical reflection on the current state of food sovereignty, focusing on the processes of seed selection, preservation, and circulation—previously in the hands of farmers and gardeners, now controlled by large institutional and industrial structures.

A workshop at the allotment gathered gardeners, neighbors, and curious onlookers to develop proposals for a more diverse, creative, and resilient ecology. Based on the diversity already present in the garden, they imagined desired species and new crossbreeds to enrich the local ecology.
The Traveling Seedbed left the Quinta da Armada allotment and traveled the streets of Braga, carrying with it the gestures, ideas, and intersections of the workshop “Where is the Seed?” by Landra. Each stop — from the Municipal Market to Avenida Central — was an invitation to meet, listen, and spread possible futures.

Amid questions, exchanges, and drawings of new species, discussions focused on food sovereignty, urban biodiversity, and the power of those who cultivate, care for, and protect seeds.
